β€œThen the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, β€œAll authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.””
— Matthew 28:16-20

A way that God is glorified through us is when we are used by him to fulfill the great commission. This is our preaching of the gospel to our neighbors, our mission efforts in our state and country, and when we take the gospel to the nations. At Big Sky Fellowship we want every member to know and understand that it is their responsibility to make Him known. We are all missionaries in whatever context God has placed us.

There are a few things you can be doing to help spread the gospel to the nations:

PRAY: This is the most important part of missions and should be done at all levels of involvement.

GIVE: We hold on to our money thinking that we have earned it and it will provide us happiness. God has blessed us not for our glory but for his. At Big Sky you can designate part of your gift to "missions" and 100% of it will go to the mission field.

GO: This is a step that we would encourage every believer to take. Not all Christians become lifelong missionaries on a foreign mission field, but everyone that goes is changed forever. At Big Sky Fellowship we offer different opportunities throughout the year to be involved in a mission's trip, whether in Montana or overseas, as well as many opportunities to serve the local community.
